Travel Notice – Sunday 26 July 2026: Please be aware that Manchester Day will take place in Manchester city centre on Sunday 26 July, with the parade and celebrations expected between 12:00pm and 5:00pm. Temporary road closures, diversions and increased traffic are expected throughout the city centre, which may affect access to The Midland Hotel and nearby car parks. Walking access to the hotel will remain available at all times. Guests travelling by car are advised to allow extra time for their journey, check the latest travel information before setting off, and we recommend using Q-Park First Street where possible, as it is generally the most accessible option during city centre events.
