Just returned from 4 nights at the Leonardo Boutique Old Town. Fab location, 7mins walk to the Old Town square (turn right), roughly the same to the castle/river (turn left). Bolt taxi's were available within 1-2mins of requests and were super cheap. Approx 43zl (£8/£9 ish) to/from airport...25mins, 11zl (£3 ish) to schlinders...8-10mins. As 2 females we felt very safe with this location and having walked to Kazmiriz 1 afternoon, were so glad we made the choice to stay near the old town. The hotel had everything we needed including a small but fairly decent hairdryer and tea/coffee facilities. (We brought some milk sachets off the plane). The cozy room was small but perfectly fine, just lacking drawer/storage space but not a big deal at all. Warm but could turn heating down and once window opened, room cooled down perfectly. Aircon/heating only works with window closed. Could hear the trams but nothing that earplugs wouldnt solve if your light sleeper. We were so tired, didnt bother us at all. Very comfy beds...firm but the pillows were supersoft like clouds. The bathroom was lovely and modern. Only things were 1 of the loo roll holders was broken (no big deal), the bathroom floor wasnt cleaned while we were there, and i spilled chocolate (from the gorgeous chimney cake shop down the road) on the pillow and it hadnt been changed the following day. But this was my fault...only chocolate, and these were very minor things, didnt impact our stay at all. Reception staff smiley and helpful and bar ladies were lovely. Natalia served us 3nights and she was so lovely; friendly but professional. Took the time to chat back to us when she was clearing glasses but still remained professional and didnt let talking stop her working/serving others. Really nice atmosphere in the bar after a long cold day out exploring. Outdoor area would be lovely in warm weather, we didnt see blankets and heat lamps for cold weather or maybe we would have sat out. Breakfast was gorgeous, no early morning rush either. Started getting busier after 9am, most attractions we wanted to see didnt open until 10. Plenty of cold choices and also a small hot selection including a D.I.Y waffle maker...once figured how to turn waffles, they were lovely. Bread selection was very fresh and the yoghurt/oat pots really nice. Chef was constantly replacing hot/cold food and waitresses worked very hard replenishing items and clearing. If you needed anything they were quick to react eg refilling juice machine. There were napkins on cold selection tops but my only suggestion....put some by the bread. I did this every day as people were just using bare hands to touch the bread, which personally i dont like and i noticed if the napkins were there they were using them to avoid touching bread directly. Only a small thing i know, but to me, makes a big difference for food hygiene. There was a locked luggage room for last day after check out, we kept our room until 3pm though to save rushing with cases in morning so we could head over to schlinders factory when it opened at 9am as we hadnt booked tickets. Until 2pm is free, about £30 until 3pm. Any longer full room rate applies. We returned at 3pm moved cases to luggage room and headed to old town for final food/drinks. Overall absolutely gorgeous hotel and i would 100% recommend staying here to anyone. Tips: book auschwitz/birkenau and schlinders in advance. Dont do guided tour for schlinders, too much to read/see and would be rushed otherwise (we spent 4hrs, easily could have been longer). Check for free admission days to attractions. Castle was free Monday, some areas were closed off for cleaning, but saw enough...good way to save money. Use audio guides when available, cheap enough. Salt mines were amazing...not what we expected! Be warned though, 800 steps to go down! Rynek underground was amazing...dont do guided tour. In the old Jewish ghetto heroes square, there's the pharmacy, it's all interactive and a different but fab experience...only need 45mins or so. So many quirky traditional polish restaurants, try babci maliny (outer ring old town) like being at a grandmothers house but its deceptively huge through all different dining rooms. We were in the farthest back room. The hungarian and budapest goulash were gorgeous. Would have liked another day to do Zakopane.

Great Hotel with friendly staff and great location

What a beautiful hotel this is, hubby had surprised me for my birthday, booked a deluxe room, but when we got there we had been upgraded to a suite, omg it was beautiful, beds, pillows so comfortable, spotlessly clean, tea and coffee making facilities, can't understand why this is only a 3 star hotel, would definitely recommend 😀

Used this hotel as a base to visit Krakow and surrounding areas over 4 nights. Everything about this hotel was spot on. Only minor criticism is the availability of decaf coffee and tea (but several herbal varieties). However this seems to be a common issue throughout Poland.

The Leonardo Boutique Hotel is very well placed with a short walk to the old town. The room was comfortable and warm. There is a notice in the bathroom saying if towels to be replaced place on floor. We would have used our towels for a couple of days but there was only a short towel rail with limited space to dry them. The curtains in the bedroom needed a wash. We did enjoy our stay

Very good stay in lovely position, Parking car could have been issue but found local car park

It was a surprise that the two televisions in our room only had an English news channel and English Eurosport. It would have been helpful if you could get British subtitles. We have stayed all round the world in hotels , guest houses and Airbnb which have had more channels or at least a smart TV so you can use Apps. Thanks

I would highly recommend this hotel, it is close to town 5-10 min walk. Easy to get a taxi or train to from the airport. Clean and modern inside. Lovely bathroom facilities. Room is cleaned when you display a notice outside the door. Would stay here again.

We had a great stay. The location was perfect for us- with only a short walk into the town centre. The room was perfect for what we needed. Our only quibble was that the room was SO hot and the air con just didn’t touch it but if my partner would have been happy to sleep with the window open we might have been fine.

First time in krakow and didn’t know what to expect as price was great Pleasantly surprised very good hotel couldn’t fault a thing I’m already looking into booking again for next year Ps location excellent for all tours and squares

The hotel overall was of a high standard, well designed and very clean. Prime location to visit old town & the Jewish quarter which was ideal for our stay. Good idea of pillow menu but would recommend wider pillows and accessibility to see how pillows are in order to select the best one. Room overall was spot on for what was needed. Although would recommend either more access to English channels or ability to cast to the TV’s from other devices for Netflix etc.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location. Rooms comfortable and clean. Only a couple of improvements - bit more wardrobe space and on our kast day there was no hot water. Everything else was fabulous.

Excellent overall

Lovely hotel, great location and on the whole good. However, hotel let itself down with small issues such as no sliced bread available at breakfast one morning to make toast, and additionally when my room was cleaned the shower soap and toilet roll were not replaced meaning that I twice had to put in requests for replacements, something that should be necessary.

This is a lovely hotel in a great location, the rooms and bathrooms were very clean and modern. The staff were very professional and helpful. I would return and recommend

Hotel is lovely and modern and very clean. 10 minute walk from main square and a few minutes from the castle. Staff friendly. I was travelling with my 77 year old mother and she found the shower slippery, no bath mats available but staff very obliging in providing an extra towel for the floor. Bar food was acceptable but there are many places to eat nearby. We were on the top floor and the room was very hot, slept with the window open all night even in February. This isn't a criticism, just an observation and lower floors may be better for people who get hot easily. Toiletries provided in the room were very useful, as was access to the free safe. We stayed for 3 nights and overall it was a very comfortable and pleasant stay and we would stay here again.

Great location 15- 20 minutes walk from train station . Near to castle . Nearly everything really . Trips pick Up sshort 5 minutes from hotel . It was smart , room well maintained & comfortable , polite & helpful staff . Would definitely recommend a stay here, Breakfast was good choice , fresh 🤗

Great place to visit and to stay

Stayed for 7 nights, good variety of food for breakfast. Room service food was really good. Room 101 was very comfortable and spacious. Drinks in the bar were great.

Hotel was great, but The receptionist made us pay 140 euros more than we should have, after a long debate he realized that he was making us pay again the deposit we had already paid.

This hotel is simply the best for so many things. The Location is ideal for exploring both the old town and the Jewish quarter. The hotel staff are all brilliant and helpful. The rooms are first class giving you a great night's sleep also providing items such as an iron & ironing board, hairdryer for the Ladies a safe and fridge in every room. The Breakfast is fantastic in the range of items, both hot and cold, and the quality of it. I buffer style breakfast that sets you up for the day. This is a hotel I would definitely return to.

The most important thing I can say to keep this short is that I would certainly stay again. 3* Hotel with the feel of a 4*.

We were there on a business trip, for 10 days & during the whole stay, my staying experience was wonderful, rooms are really very well set & maintained, staff is extremely helpful, and the must I say the location of the hotel, is literally a chef's kiss on top. But I do have one request, that if in the breakfast options, there could be a few more vegetarian options added, that would really top up my experience on a whole new level.

A beautiful place right in the heart of Kraków. The room was well maintained, quiet, and spotlessly clean. What truly made our stay special, however, was the exceptionally friendly and attentive staff. We were traveling with our 3-year-old, and we are very grateful for all the lovely little touches and gifts that made her stay even more enjoyable. Thank you for your hospitality — you are amazing!

Very nice hotel. We stayed as a couple. Room was clean & comfortable. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Beautiful view into the park, not noisy at all. Breakfast was hit & miss. You won’t starve as there is plenty if no English breakfast. We stayed for 3 nights and only one of them had an English breakfast. There is fresh fruit, yoghurt and pancakes. We also had evening meal one night which was okay.

Great hotel, located well and not to far from the old town square, restaurants and cafe’s.. clear and modern.
