Leonardo Hotel Breda City Center welcomes guests to new restaurant concept after large-scale renovation
The addition of restaurant Chefs! Food & Drinks is an asset for both business and leisure guests
Breda, 2 September 2024 - After a successful and large-scale renovation, Leonardo Hotels proudly presents the renovated Leonardo Hotel Breda City Center. The hotel, located on Stationsplein, has undergone a phased transformation in recent months. With the addition of the new Chefs! Food & Drinks restaurant, the hotel is an asset for both business and leisure guests. The result is a modern and atmospheric whole, taking guests into the recognisable Leonardo allure as well as the hospitable atmosphere of the city of Breda.
Large-scale renovation
In October 2023, Leonardo Hotel Breda City Center started the renovation of the hotel on the Stationsplein in Breda. The renovation was carried out in phases so that the hotel could remain open to guests. Now that this transformation has been successfully completed, the hotel is proud to welcome both business and leisure guests in a completely revamped interior that provides a fresh look and feel and takes the ambience of the hotel to the next level. The aim of the renovation was to better meet the needs of hotel guests as well as to offer both hotel guests and local guests more possibilities in terms of events and culinary experiences.
Thanks to the renovation, the hotel in Breda seamlessly matches the distinctive ‘Leonardo product’ in which the chain aims to welcome its guests. The modern, yet recognisable allure of Leonardo Hotels is experienced by guests not only in the hotel rooms, which have undergone a complete transformation; the reception, lobby, bar, restaurant, meeting rooms and basement were also part of the extensive renovation. Now that the renovation is complete, the hotel in Breda is the perfect reflection of the experience Leonardo Hotels wants to offer its guests, says General Manager Priscilla Seoram-Jackson: ‘The hotel is now truly a cohesive whole. You immediately feel and see that when you enter the hotel. We offer our guests a total package: it is the perfect mix of our familiar service, new facilities, the allure of Leonardo Hotels and the influence of this vibrant city. This is exactly what our business guests in particular need.’
Influence of the city
Breda is known for its Burgundian inhabitants, rich history, monumental buildings and green city parks. Design agency Ennik Interieur, with whom Leonardo Hotels partnered to design the renovation, has therefore taken inspiration from the characteristic elements and future vision of the city of Breda and combined this with the recognisable allure that Leonardo Hotels stands for. The result is a design that clearly reflects the well-known Breda qualities Boundless, Green & Hospitable. Those who know the city of Breda will find the new design a perfect match; for those who do not (yet) know Breda, the hotel offers a natural mix of warmth, style and greenery, ensuring that both business and leisure guests feel at home in the hotel.
New culinary experience
The biggest addition to the hotel in the heart of Breda is restaurant concept Chefs! Food & Drinks. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, the new restaurant takes guests into a dynamic culinary experience thanks to its open kitchen. In which the ‘Open Kitchen, No Secrets’ concept not only creates interaction with the chefs in the kitchen, but extends this to the guest's table. Wait staff also wear chef's jackets and act as chefs, allowing guests to enjoy a personalised culinary experience where dishes are finished at the table by one of the chefs. The restaurant is therefore a welcome addition to the hotel in Breda, with the hotel hoping to not only offer hotel guests a culinary experience, but also entice guests from outside.
Meetings and events
The new restaurant also lends itself as the perfect location for business and private events, such as networking drinks, anniversary celebrations, birthday parties or baby showers. From a three- or four-course dinner to an elaborate buffet, walking dinner, appetisers or summer and winter barbecues: the possibilities in the renewed catering concept are endless. There is a suitable space for every occasion in the renovated hotel. On the ground floor, for instance, a new private dining room can be found where groups of up to 16 people can enjoy a private dinner. And with its flexible layout, this space can also be used as a boardroom. The new Chefs Cellar, found in the basement, lends itself perfectly to events of up to eighty people thanks to its redesigned design.
‘We find that large groups need privacy and we now offer that with the renovated basement,’ says General Manager Priscilla Seoram-Jackson. ‘Thanks to its location, the Chefs Cellar is perfect for private corporate and social events.’
The official opening of the hotel and restaurant will take place on 3 October, in the presence of the mayor of Breda, Paul Depla.
