Nyx is located right around the corner of Mannheim's central Marktplatz and "little Istanbul". Little Star Queen rooms are smallish but have everything you need, plus a coffee capsule machine incl. capsules, complimentary water, and a large screen for TV or projection from your phone. The 1,60m mattresses offer good support, there are two kinds of cushions. The window opens wide, and there are blackout curtains. The staff is super friendly. The hotel will make requests for a room's amenities possible, and they are transparent about available services (e.g. they will provide a sewing kit, supply tampons or lend you a charger). That's fantastic value for ca. 55€/night. The only drawback: the walls are very thin, so you will hear anything your neighbours do (even normal talking will filter through as a mumble), anything going on in the hallway, and the ruckus of the hallway doors falling shut. So do bring ear plugs if you're susceptible to noise.

Lovely hotel, young and modern design, Spacious rooms, comfortable bed, large bathroom with a pleasant shower. Staff was really helpful and nice when interacting with them. My request for a quiet room was accommodated without issues whcih I greatly appreciated. It's also a nice treat that the hotel has a gym but it would be nice to offer some heavier weights for people who prefer to strength train over/in addition to cardio. But that's a very minor complaint and there are commercial gyms not far away that offer day passes. I will definitely stay here again when I am back in Mannheim and will recommend the hotel to colleagues.

Lost the count, how many times I have slept over here. and each time coming back.

We stayed for one night on our journey back home. The hotel is conveniently intergrateable into your route and yet it's right in the city center! We liked our room even though it wasn't that big. The only downside here is the parking garage, it's pretty old and small so it didn't feel the safest although I managed to get our larger car inside smoothly.

Cool concept, friendly staff, great breakfast, comfortable beds and great location.

There was a coffee machine in the room, but not one single capsule. Many pillows on the bed, but not one that served: all very big and soft, but once you put your head on one, your face touches the matress. It was very warm in the room, the heating could have been a little less. I was surpised to see that breakfast was not included in the price. There seemed to be lights in the bathroom mirror, but no button to turn them on. This would help for shaving. The glass separation of the bathroom is very short and makes it impossible to keep the floor dry, when showering. There was a cloths hanger with spikes in it, that can hurt the clothes.

Everything was great, except some small things we noticed were that the eggs at the breakfast buffet had a strange jello texture, and the window of room 429 has a hinge missing, so it almost fell when we opened it.

I would say , i would prefer to visit manhiem just to stay at nyx , really good vibe , good people comfortable room and perfect location

Clean room. Easy check in and check out. Room had everything that we needed.

Short and confortable stay

Trendy hotel in the middle of Mannheim.

Hotel only 5 mins from city centre. Fantastic breakfast well worth paying the extra for. Only fault is that there is no food served in the evening although there are restaurants nearby.

My stay was short and sweet, nothing really to complain about. The only thing I immediately noticed is a lot of spider web in the corners of the room and in the bathroom :)

We had a good time in this hotel, really friendly and helpful staff. The only thing is your breakfast. Totally overpriced for the variety and the quality of the food.

I had a really nice stay. The hotel has actually surprised me in a positive way. The room and bathroom were beautiful and impeccably clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay, big bright room and lovely decor. Breakfast was great, lots of choice. Two things that would have made a difference: drawer space for folded clothes and a kettle to make hot drinks. The reception staff were fantastic when we had an issue with our airport transport, really great team, can’t thank them enough.

a good location with plenty of local options for an evening meal. pleasant room with a bath & shower coffee pods made a nice beverage (so much better than instant coffee)

Our group spent many evening after our event at the bar at your hotel and rory made our experience amazing from knowledge of places to visit and just and all-round amazing person to talk to while at the bar

Excellent hotel. Clean, comfortable, good breakfast and friendly staff. Right in the middle of town. Would definitely recommend and return.

A lovely hotel. Interesting style that we loved. Pool table great. Rooms great. Very helpful and friendly staff.

We enjoyed our stay and the staff were excellent, especially Rory. Bar could have a bigger range of spirits. I.e. pink gin and tia maria. Also a socket beside the mirror would be helpful.

I recommend this Hotel to everyone! Free parking near the Hotel (need some luck tho), clean, great aesthetic, friendly staff, wifi, free entertaining games in the lobby, what else do you need? We did not eat in the Hotel so i cant say anything about that.

All staff where so friendly Rory (Bobby) who we all gave him his Scottish name Bobby took this all in the fun intended this made our stay memorable
