Great location for running. Good rooms and breakfast.

Room with lake view was marvelous. Staff very friendly. Generally very quiet, but still well connected (tram stop nearby) location. The only drawback: room doors are old, shut with loud bangs.

As a returning guest for many years, I find the hotel has a wonderful location by the lake, rooms of high standard and great comfort, friendly and service minded employees, all in all as always a wonderful and pleasant experience - looking forward to be back soon again.

I booked Leonardo Hotel for a business trip. First I was amazed at prices. The prices were economical and the rooms were more than I expected. I really had a very good experience and I would suggest further.

Warm greetings and genuine smiles welcomed me, setting the tone for a delightful stay. The check-in as well as the check-out process was swift and efficient, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate any special requests. We also had a nice dinner and a great breakfast experience in the restaurant, which was lovely decorated. The location of the hotel was also ideal, situated next to a beautiful park. We could easily explore nearby attractions, restaurants, and shops, making our stay even more enjoyable. I look forward to returning in the future for another unforgettable stay.

We had a very good experience with our stay into this hotel, but you can improve according my appointments. We came from Switzerland and I can say that the period into your hotel was much better than there. My last appointment is for the manager to consider to be more friendly with your guests. But I recommend this hotel.

Great value for money

Besides the hotel 1. the parking offers a solution for the bottleneck nearby. It is impossible to find parking near the University. 2. The lake and the walking around it make it a spectacular view and a walk is good to relax

This is the 2nd time I am staying in this hotel, I was on a business trip for 2 days this time and I really enjoyed how friendly and helpful the staff is, they make everything easy for you :) The rooms are clean, spacious and nice, bed is very comfortable. My only negative comment is that I wish they had gluten-free bread and cake options for breakfast. For someone with allergies as myself, breakfast was quite limited.

It was my third trip in Köln and this hotel, and I am so satisfied with it that I am going to stay overtime there, whenever I am in Köln.

I highly recommend the Leonardo Royal Hotel in Cologne. The room was perfect and relaxing with a view of the water. High speed internet works well too. My favorite part was the restaurant on-site which provided the best meal I had during my 2 week vacation across Europe. The food was delicious!
