Opening in 2013 - With its ten-storey construction made of glass and metal, the new Leonardo Hotel Berlin Mitte will be the main focus of the Bertolt Brecht Platz. Located in the heart of Berlin, this breathtaking building will open during the second half of 2013 and will be characterized by a perfect mixture of modern architecture, culinary delicacies and excellent service. The hotel will be situated in one of Berlin's most fascinating location, directly on the banks of the river Spree close to Friedrichstrasse.
Designed by Eike Becker, the three-part building will include ten storeys with an additional basement and will impress for its pyramidal shape starting from the sixth floor. This architectural aspect will “represent the building’s appeal”, according to Becker.
The interior design of the Leonardo Hotel Berlin Mitte will be characterized by a “Bohemian style” and will comprise 310 rooms, a luxurious VIP lounge for special events (100 m²), an elegant wellness area with sauna and gym and a conference area of 160 m². The restaurant "Vitruv" offers a wide variety of specialties seating up to 200 guests, while the cozy bar is the best place to end your day with a drink in a relaxing atmosphere.
