Berlin, January 2014 – This year, Leonardo Hotels’ investment wheel will continue to turn. The hotel group will invest in over 40 hotels in Germany in the New Year in order to keep up with, and above all, optimise the high standard that is customary in the more than 50 Leonardo hotels in Europe. Comprehensive renovations and alterations are planned in order to give the rooms & suites and also the public areas and restaurants & bars a fresh look combined with modern amenities. Once again, renowned hotel interior designer Andreas Neudahm is responsible for the design.
After extensive renovations in a large number of our hotels in the past few months, during which time the Leonardo Hotels in Cologne, Düsseldorf and Baden-Baden were accepted into the circle of the exclusive »Leonardo Royal« brand, Leonardo Hotels plans to invest a further EUR 10 million in furnishings and design this year.
Among others, hotels in Weimar, Mönchengladbach, Wolfsburg, Hannover, Karlsruhe, Heidelberg, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich and Zurich, will be “refreshed” in order to raise quality, service and standards even higher. Daniel Roger, the general manager of Leonardo Hotels Europe stresses: »We know what our guests expect and want to meet their requirements. Therefore, continuous improvement and investment are a matter of course for us, in order to meet the growing expectations of the clients and to satisfy them with our products at all times.«
Within the framework of the comprehensive investments in raising our quality, the hotel chain’s creed »feeling good« has been extended with some new content. A new, balanced breakfast concept gives our guests an optimal start to their day and a rich spread of fresh, regional organic products will become a regular component of breakfast at all Leonardo Hotels. In addition to this, in future, all our hotel guests will be welcomed with a »feeling good« complimentary gift at reception, and after their stay will be sent on their way with a sweet parting gift. Carefully selected fragrances in public areas and in the rooms ensure an atmosphere of wellbeing and round off the creed nicely. For businesswomen, the »women friendly« hotel concept has been implemented in all Leonardo Royal Hotels.
Furthermore, all hotels of the »Royal« brand now offer a new conference flat rate concept under the name »Brain Breaks«, with the aspects of healthy nutrition and creative breaks in between strenuous conference sessions being the focus of our attention. Imaginative break concepts ensure that the delegates’ performances and concentration capacities are raised for the next session. In addition, events with a minimum of 10 participants profit from the LeonardoPLUS Package. This includes many extras such as free accommodation for the delegates’ partners, free Internet use and »welcome« and »farewell« gifts.
