Grandopening Vienna

First Leonardo Hotel in Austria celebrates its opening

Berlin, October 2012 – Following the successful soft opening of the 4-star Leonardo Hotel Vienna in July, David Fattal, President of Fattal Hotels, Daniel Roger, General Manager of Leonardo Hotels Europe, and hotel general manager Brigitte Joo are now looking forward to welcoming guests to the official opening party for the first Leonardo Hotel in Austria on 18th October.

The modern lifestyle and business hotel will be presenting a programme of entertainment on the evening of 18th October with the theme ‘Servus in Wien’ or ‘Welcome to Vienna’. Many individual surprises await guests behind the numerous doors of the new hotel’s bedrooms and suites. The name of the game on the evening is to uncover these, to which end the guests will take part in an entertaining tour around the whole hotel. Famous Austrian TV presenter Katrin Lampe will be the charming host of a wonderful event full of highlights for our guests. Meanwhile, classic Viennese delicacies and operetta will provide the famous warm and cosy ambience known as ‘Wiener Gemütlichkeit’.

Already present in Germany, Israel, Belgium, Hungary and Switzerland, with this 4-star hotel Leonardo Hotels now has a presence in Austria as well. “In opening the Leonardo Hotel Vienna we have added a modern, fresh lifestyle and business hotel to our portfolio and gained Vienna as another important location for us in Europe,” explains Daniel Roger, General Manager of Leonardo Hotels Europe.

By virtue of its central location on Matrosengasse, just 100 metres away from Vienna’s longest shopping street, Mariahilfer Strasse, the Leonardo Hotel Vienna is particularly attractive not only to business guests, but to tourists as well. With 213 spacious, non-smoking bedrooms and luxurious suites, the 4-star hotel guarantees a relaxing stay. All of the bedrooms are furnished and equipped to the highest standard of quality, leaving nothing at all to be desired. The modern ‘Vitruv’ hotel restaurant offers its guests a broad selection of breakfast options for a successful start to the day, plus a 24-hour ‘Grab ‘n’ Go’ bar with tasty snacks and refreshing drinks to satisfy any pangs of hunger or thirst between meals. The hotel’s highlight is provided by the spacious lobby, which combines bar, restaurant and lounge within one expansive entrance area. Guests who attach importance to exclusivity of the finest will find their needs satisfied in the Business Lounge. A comprehensive package of additional services – consisting of a separate check-in, an extended range of culinary offerings and free Internet access – provide an extra portion of luxury.

Leonardo Hotels is the European division of Fattal Hotels, founded in 1998 by David Fattal. In addition to its hotel locations in Israel, the company has also been active in the European market since 2007 and currently operates over 30 hotels in Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Hungary and Austria, with other attractive European sites to be added soon.
