Germany, September 2010 - The Leonardo Royal Hotel Munich is set to offer anything other than business as usual. With conference facilities of 1,800m2, a ballroom providing vehicle access and space for up to 700 people, 7 flexibly designed meeting rooms with multimedia equipment, a large (350m2) foyer, a spa area for relaxation and a professional events team ready to help, as required, with the planning, preparation and running of functions, the hotel promises clients stress-free and above all successful meetings and conferences. The generously proportioned function rooms with capacity for between 8 and 170 people will have a friendly, light and airy ambience and be equipped with flip chart, pin board, presenter’s case, overhead, PC and slide projectors, integrated screen, lectern, telephone, fax, WLAN, ISDN / high-speed Internet and Hi-Fi. Andreas Neudahm, senior interior designer, explains: “Our objective was to create modern and above all flexible facilities, thought through in every detail, which guarantee that meetings will go well. Every minute detail that could be of interest to business travellers or for a social event has been taken into account.” The one facility above all others that offers lots of room for realising big ideas is the Leonardo Royal Munich Ballroom. With a ceiling height of 5.9m and room for up to 700 people, plus exhibition vehicles, it ranks as one of the largest ballrooms in Munich. A creative and above all excellent banqueting service will, where desired, also round off every event on the culinary front, pampering palate and soul with tasty delights of Mediterranean and Asian cuisine.

Located near the Olympia Business Park, Olympic Stadium and ‘BMW Welt’, the 4-star superior hotel, with its executive lounge, ‘Vitruv’ restaurant, ‘Leo90’ bar/lounge, plus a sauna and fitness area, is due to open in January 2011. Jan Heringa, the Leonardo Royal Hotel Munich’s future general manager, proudly tells more: “The hotel’s exclusive interior design will leave nothing to be desired. All of the 412 bedrooms and 12 suites will have air conditioning, a bathtub, mini-bar, flat-screen TV, desk, safe, telephone, WLAN and ironing board and with their harmonious and stylish combination of material, form and warm red and terra shades will create a very relaxing atmosphere.” A further special feature of the hotel will be its unique lobby concept, which will combine reception, bar and lounge in one impressive, spacious entrance area. Strong, harmonious colours in shades of black, green and red, coved lighting in alternating tones, various cosy corners and pleasant quiet spots will create an inspirational, stimulating area in which everyone can find a favourite place and in keeping with the Leonardo Hotel motto, ‘The Art to Feel at Home’, will feel thoroughly content and at ease.
