The Leonardo Boutique Hotel Rigihof Zurich now open



Zurich, September 2010 - The wait is finally over! Following hotels in Tel Aviv and Munich, the rebranding of the Leonardo Hotel Rigihof Zurich is now complete, thus making it the third hotel under the Leonardo ‘Boutique’ lifestyle brand. Daniel Roger, Managing Director of Leonardo Hotels Europe, explains: “The Leonardo ‘Boutique’ brand stands for smaller hotels that have a captivating appeal created primarily by their exclusive furnishings and individual flair. Built in 1937 in the Bauhaus style, the 4-star hotel is located in Zurich’s artistic university quarter. It has good road and public transport connections and is just a 10-minute walk from the main railway station and the famous Bahnhofstrasse shopping avenue. Clear lines, coved lighting in alternating colours and stylish designer furniture in elegant white and green and other shades inspired by nature create a stylish and yet cosy ambience in lobby, restaurant and bar, making these inviting spots for meeting business partners and friends or simply a place to relax and unwind.

“Despite being on the road, we want both business and leisure travellers to feel at home and to be able to work in the way they’re used to,” stresses Shay Dadon, General Manager of the Leonardo Boutique Hotel Rigihof Zurich. “All of our rooms are therefore equipped with WLAN, flat-screen TV, pay TV, minibar, safe, telephone, desk, tea and coffee facilities, hairdryer and vanity mirror.” What’s more, the outstanding fittings and the technical sophistication still leave ample room for guests to unwind and to come up with new creative ideas. On the culinary front, guests can indulge themselves with international cuisine at the hotel’s own restaurant, which also has a summer terrace.

The Leonardo Boutique Hotel Tel Aviv, the first ‘Boutique’ branded Leonardo Hotel, was opened in July 2009 in Tel Aviv. With the Leonardo Boutique Savoy Hotel Munich becoming the second, the Leonardo Boutique Hotel Rigihof Zurich is now the chain’s third Boutique Hotel. A further Boutique Hotel is planned for Berlin and is due to open on Am Zirkus in late 2011 / early 2012.
