David Fattal
Founder and President of Fattal Hotels

David Fattal, born in 1957 in Haifa, Israel, studied at Haifa University where he graduated in Business Management, Sociology and Educational Theory. He also attended the Tadmor School of Hotel Management in Herzliya as well as various courses at Cornell University, NY State, USA.

His professional career within the hospitality industry started at the age of 27 when he was appointed Assistant General Manager of the prestigious Dan Accadia Hotel in Herzliya. After various General Manager positions across the country, David became the Managing Director of Africa Israel Hotels & Resorts Ltd. in 1996, a subsidiary of Africa Israel Investments and launched successfully the franchising and management concept of the Holiday Inn brand to the country.

In 1998, David Fattal founded his own business, the Fattal Hotel Management Company, opening Le Meridien Hotel Eilat, his first hotel in Israel.

In 2005, Fattal Hotels decided to extend the hotel portfolio and invested in city hotels in Europe: Leonardo Hotels (www.leonardo-hotels.com) was founded as the European division of Fattal Hotels. Today, it operates more than 30 hotels in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Hungary and Switzerland. The hotel chain will continue expanding and focus on new hotel projects across Germany and other major cities in Europe.

Nowadays, Fattal Hotels (www.fattal.co.il) is one of the leading hotel management companies in Israel, managing more than 60 hotels including the Leonardo Hotels properties.


                              


Daniel Roger
General Manager of Leonardo Hotels Europe

Daniel Roger, who has an Israeli-German family background, studied Hotel Management in Germany and Switzerland. He previously held various managerial positions for several hotels in Germany. Between 2002 and 2005, he was the General Manager of a private hotel chain in the Czech Republic. Since February 2006, Daniel Roger is the General Manager of Leonardo Hotels, the European division of Fattal Hotels. His responsibilities include the management of different departments such as Sales & Marketing, Revenue Management and Project Management.
