Europe, November 2009 – To live up to the motto of Leonardo Hotels: “The Art to Feel at Home” and the standards of our customers and guests, continuous investments in our products are a key issue for us, even in difficult times. In keeping with the Christmas season, we will therefore amaze our guests with numerous new amenities.

As of 9 November, the lobby, reception, restaurant and bar of the Leonardo Hotel Rigihof Zürich are back on the scene with a whole new look, after a redesigning and modernisation phase. The former Bauhaus restaurant has been rechristened VITRUV Restaurant & Bar and will now pamper guests in an elegant, cosy atmosphere with freshly prepared, seasonal gourmet dishes of both Swiss and international cuisine. There is also a new cosy bar and lounge area, where guests can unwind and relax. From 7 December to the early February 2010, the Savoy Hotel Munich will undergo renovation work and reopen as the 4-star Leonardo Boutique Savoy Hotel Munich. Leonardo Boutique Hotels stand out with their exclusive interiors with a personal touch and combine lifestyle with exceptional design features. The perfect place for guests looking for that little bit extra. The first hotel of the “Boutique” brand was opened this year in Tel Aviv in July.

Daniel Roger, Managing Director of Leonardo Hotels, is particularly proud of the progress of the construction work of the second of Leonardo Hotels' exclusive “Royal” brand, the Leonardo Royal Hotel Munich, near Munich's Olympic park. He explains: “The hotel is Munich's largest current hotel construction building project. We aim to open the hotel on 20.10.2010.” There will be 417 elegant, comfortable rooms and suites, conference and meeting facilities at the disposal of business travellers and people visiting the city, plus a ballroom of over 1,700 sqm, an exclusive VIP lounge and a modern sauna and fitness area.

The Leonardo Airport Hotel Hamburg, situated directly (500 m) at Hamburg airport will also be getting a facelift. From November 2009, the lobby, reception and breakfast room will be completely redesigned and renovated. Our objective is to give a more harmonious, cosy feel to the hotel with a new, warm concept of colour and design. The Hotel Florida Antwerp, located in the heart of Antwerp, will also get a complete facelift, in several stages, starting from January 2010. From May 2010, guests staying at the newly named "Leonardo Inn Hotel Antwerpen" werden will be able to try out the new functional aspects and comfort of the hotel for themselves. This will also be the first hotel of the new “Leonardo Inn” brand, the budget category of Leonardo Hotels.

Leonardo Hotels is the European division of Fattal Hotels, which was founded in 1998 by David Fattal. The leading Israeli hotel chain comprises more than 60 hotels. The Leonardo Hotels chain has been present in Germany since 2007; it currently operates over 30 hotels in Germany, Belgium and Switzerland and will soon be opening new hotels in other attractive locations.
