I travel freqently for business, however this was my first time at the Leonardo Hotel. On arrival, I enquired firstly about the location of the hotel in relation to the office I was visiting for a meeting the next morning, however the knowledge of the hotel staff was not great. I then asked about the availability of a late night pharmacy (as I had some specific requirements) and although I was told the the only possibility to find one was the city centre, no additonal information was provided (e.g. directions to the metro or area in which I might find a pharmacy). The experience of staying in the room was not at all pleasant. I was working until quite late (2.00am) and was frequently interrupted by noise from the adjoining rooms and the corridor (the walls between the rooms are not in any way adequate to reduce noise). At 2.00am, I was forced to stop working as the WiFi seemed to have been switched off. Deciding to go to bed, I then realised that the noise of the guest snoring in the next room meant I would be disturbed for the rest of the night. I had to switch on music and out in my headphones to drown out the noise from the next room, resulting in a really broken night's sleep. At 7.00am the next morning, the guests in the room on the other side awoke and I could hear everything they were speaking about and the noise from their room as they got ready to leave. All in all, not a pleasant experience for me. The only positive was the next morning when I went to settle my bill. There was a power failure while I was at reception which meant my invoice could not be printed. The employee took my e-mail address and committed to getting the invoice to me as soon as possible. True to his word, the invoice landed in my e-mail inbox a couple of hours later. All in all however, I unfortuntely would not be happy to return to the hotel and will not be recommending it to friends or colleagues.

Buchung sehr unkompliziert, bei Ankunft freundlich empfangen, sofort Zimmer erhalten, Zimmer leider sehr klein und leider sehr laut (Fenster zur Straße, Wände sehr dünn und daher hellhörig - leider keine Ohropax an der Rezeption erhältlich), Bad und WC sehr klein (Lüftung im Bad hat nicht funktioniert), Klimaanlage hat nicht funktioniert, Frühstücksbuffet angemessen - leider immer gemeinsames Frühstück mit großen Reisegruppen, die sich leider nicht zu benehmen wussten (extrem laut, sehr unordentlich, haben Tische als Chaos verlassen,....) - Kompliment an die Mitarbeiter des Service, waren immer sofort bemüht das Chaos zu beseitigen und beim Buffet Ordnung zu schaffen! Positiv: Lage des Hotels, Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter, Sauberkeit der Zimmer, WLAN, Safe im Zimmer Negativ: Zimmer zur Straße - daher sehr laut, Schlacht am Frühstücksbuffet, undisziplinierte große Reisegruppen, kaputter PC in der Lobby, Angebot im Hotelrestaurant, kaputte Klimaanlage und Lüftung im Zimmer. Vorschläge: Extra Raum für Menschen, die gerne in Ruhe frühstücken würden, Ungarische Küche im Restaurant, Bar um den Abend gemütlich ausklingen lassen zu können

Beim Frühstücks-Buffet herrscht ein wirkliches Chaos, zu wenig Platz und zu viele Leute! War auch recht unübersichtlich gestaltet! Schade!

es war ein TOLLER aufenthalt im LEONARDO-hotel in budapest - wir hatten aber auch 2 grosse zimmer :-) habe gestern eine anfrage geschcikt wegen "kapazität im sept" mit animod-gutscheinen (oder evtl. verlängerung von 2 gutscheinen bis nov/dez).
