Press Release - Hannes Jaenicke paints for a good cause in collaboration
with SOS Kinderdorf and the Leonardo Hotels chain



Berlin, October 2009 – For the second year running, the Leonardo Hotels chain is sponsoring the “BMW artistic Advent calendar” campaign. In the run-up to this charity campaign, which will be launched on 01 December 2009 throughout Germany, on Sunday 17/10/09, actor Hannes Jaenicke, together with children from the SOS Kinderdorf (SOS Children’s Village) in Berlin-Moabit, painted Christmas baubles in a truly seasonal atmosphere at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Berlin.

The BMW artistic Advent calendar 2009 will again be for a good cause: donations will be used for local projects of registered association SOS Kinderdorf. The Leonardo Hotels chain continues its commitment to SOS Kinderdorf, giving children both in Germany and abroad the chance of a better future. As Daniel Roger, Managing Director of Leonardo Hotels Europe, underlines: “As a hotel chain present throughout Europe, a charitable commitment for a good cause is of great importance. Helping children, who are amongst the most vulnerable members of society, should be a matter of course”. From November 2009 to February 2010, every guest has the chance to make a donation to SOS Kinderdorf directly at Leonardo Hotels. As a small token of thanks, for each donation guests will receive the Leonardo “We help!” badge. (See image)
