My experience in Heidelberg and Munich was great - service was good but I asked for very little so I dont have much to add really. The Munich hotel was cute - clean and the staff really helped me with parking information and were professional and kind. My only improvement would be to ask for a bath instead of just a shower - but that may be the room I had.

Wir hatten über AMEX Membershiprewards gebucht; leider war die Buchung nicht in Ihrem System, sodaß dies zunächst für etwas Verwunderung sorgte. Die freundliche Mitarbeiterin hat dies jedoch sehr schnell, engagiert und zuvorkommend geklärt. Wir hoffen nur, daß die nochmals zur Sicherheit vorgelegte Kreditkarte nicht belastet wird, denn es sollte ja im Vorfeld bereits alles geregelt/gezahlt gewesen sein.

A disaster from beginning to end. Booked rooms were not available on arrival. Totally unacceptable service. In the end, our first night involved two single rooms at the Leonardo Boutique and a double room at another hotel - booked by us and at our cost. The following day we were moved into two double rooms - one of which must hold the record of being the smallest double room in the world. We cannot believe that a claimed 4-star hotel would behave in this way.

Waschbeckenarmatur war nicht sauber. An Wandflächen im Bad waren Seifen- und Wasserflecken. Stuhlgestell war nicht sauber. Täglicher Handtuchwechsel ohne Aufforderung finde ich unnötig. Bei Einzelzimmerbelegung sollte auch nur eine Bettwäschegarnitur aufliegen und eine Garnitur Handtücher im Bad hängen. Das spart Zeit und Wäsche. Schuhablage im Eingangsbereich fände ich vorteilhaft.

Ich fühle mich sehr wohl bei Ihnen, aber das Frühstück resp. den Frühstücksraum halte ich für nicht optimal: 1) Bei mehrmaligem Aufenthalt war stets die Musik deutlich zu laut im Frühstücksraum, meiner Bitte um Leiserstellen kam die Mitarbeiterin nach, stellte aber nach kurzer Zeit die Lautstärke wieder hoch. Sehr nervig. 2) Die Höhe der Tische in Relation zur Bank ist nicht gut, trotz meiner normalen Körpergröße sitze ich dort viel zu tief und ohne Rückenunterstützung, da die Bank nicht nur zu tief, sondern auch zu breit ist. Ausgelegte Kissen helfen, sind aber oft durch andere Frühstücksgäste bereits belegt. 3) Und ein nice-to-have: Die Auswahl (Darjeeling!) und die Qualität der Teebeutel ist deutlich verbesserbar, andere Hotels Ihres Preissegments haben das in der Regel. Sonst war ich sehr zufrieden.

Die Klimaanlage ließ sich nicht abstellen (Bedieneinheit defect, Zimmer 112). Volle Leistung, volle Lautstärke, volle Nacht. Meine Beschwerde wurde "abgewimmelt", es kam kein Mitarbeiter vorbei. Zudem funktionierte die code Karte zum Zimmer nicht. Nachdem ich eine neue Codierung hatte vornehmen lassen, ging es immer noch nicht: der Concierge ließ mich dann mit einer Zentralkarte hinein, ich konnte das Zimmer aber praktisch nicht mehr verlassen. Im Bad gibt es keine Lüftung. Das Hotel ist toll gelegen. Das Auschecken verlief problemlos und schnell, sehr nette und zuvorkommende Behandlung am Morgen des 12.

We were very disappointed that the air conditioning in the room (401) did not operate. We had booked this room for our parents as a holiday treat and they were uncomfortable with the heat and the window could not be left open because of the noise from the restaurant below. They were offered a change of room, but it appeared that the air conditioning was not functioning anywhere in the hotel. On checking out, we were offered a discount on future bookings and a future upgrade to a better room. This is unsatisfactory in that the problem was with an unsatisfactory visit and the only compensation for this failure is associated with a future booking at additional expense.

I stayed with my colleague for three nights. The day we arrived it was 29C in Munich - but the air conditioning was not working in my room. I requested a new room - and when I got it, discovered that the air conditioning was not working there either. I went back to my original room as it was bigger than the substitute. However, because it was so hot, i had to sleep with the windows open - which meant that I was subjected to all the noise of the street outside - from the late night bars opposite and the beer deliveries arriving in the morning. The bathroom was smelly and the central light in my room seems to be connected to another room's switch as it kept turning on and off mysteriously first thing and last thing at night - waking me up on two occasions. Added to all this, the walls were paper thin - I felt sometimes as if I was in bed with the person next door. If you were disabled or had heavy luggage, this hotel would be very tricky as you had to walk up some steps to get to the lift. How silly is that? Having said all of that, the front desk staff were very pleasant -- but ultimately could not manage to get the air-conditioning fixed over our three night stay - which is totally unacceptable. It was the first - and the last time that we will stay there.

The price/quality balance is completely lost for this hotel. The quality of the room was extremely poor, room were old, uncomfortable, poorly maintained and dirty. The breakfast was not good either. Finally the price was 230€ per night and this is really ridiculous. Never come here again.
