ATTENTION! – Due to road works on Waldecker Strasse, guests arriving by car should follow these directions: please take the bypass Kopernikusstrasse to get to the hotel when coming from the direction “Messe” or “Mühlheim”. Otherwise, you can easily access the hotel as usual through the motorway coming from direction Frankfurt and Olpe as well as from “Zoobrücke” coming from the city center.
By Car
The hotel is conveniently situated near the city autobahn B55A, exit Kalk/Buchforst, and is easily reachable from all directions.

If you plan to visit the city centre by car, please remember to purchase an "Umweltplakette" (Environment badge). From January 1st, 2008 this badge is mandatory by law in order to drive with your own car through the inner city of Cologne. Parking is available at the hotel for 10 €/night.
To the LANXESS Arena
From Waldecker Strasse head south and go down B55a. Take the exit at Deutz/Odysseum and turn left on the Straße des 17. Juni. Follow the street for 400m and then turn right to Gummersbacher Strasse. Continue on Deutz-Kalker-Strasse. In less than one minute you will reach the LANXESS Arena on the right hand side.
Public Transportation
From Airport Cologne/Bonn (CGN)
Take the S-Bahn S13 towards Hansaring until Station Cologne Messe/Deutz and change to the tramline 3 towards Thielenbruch until the stop Waldecker Straße. Follow the Waldecker Straße in direction of Kalk. After about 150 metres the hotel is located on the right hand side. Taxis to and from the Airport Cologne/Bonnl cost about 25-30 €.
From Airport Düsseldorf (DUS)
An ICE takes you to ICE-Station Cologne Messe/Deutz within 30 minutes. Take the tramline 3 towards Thielenbruch until the stop Waldecker Straße and follow the Waldecker Straße towards Kalk. After about 150 metres the hotel is located on the right hand side. Due to the immediate proximity to the autobahn A3/A57 the hotel can also easily be reached by car.
From Frankfurt-Main Airport (FRA)
The ICE-train only needs 55 minutes from the Frankfurt am Main Airport.
From Cologne Central Station
Take the S-Bahn S6 towards Essen or the S11 towards Bergisch-Gladbach until the stop Buchforst (2 stopovers). Follow the Waldecker Straße towards Kalk. After about 400 metres the hotel is located on the right hand side.
From Koelnmesse/Neumarkt/ICE-Station Deutz
Take the tram line 3 towards Thielenbruch until the stop Waldecker Straße. Follow Follow the Waldecker Straße towards Kalk. After about 400 metres the hotel is located on the right hand side.
From Düsseldorf
Take the S-Bahn towards Koeln-Nippes or the local train until Koeln-Muehlheim and change to the S6 and continue until the stop Buchforst (1 stop after Muelheim). Follow the Waldecker Straße towards Kalk. After about 400 metres the hotel is located on the right hand side.
By Taxi
The taxi costs from and to the Airport Cologne / Bonn (CGN) amounts at circa 28 €; to the main central station ca. 16 €.
