New Leonardo Hotel in Berlin-Mitte

Opening in 2013 - With its ten storey construction of glass and metal the new building will be the new main focus of the Bertold-Brecht-Platz. Apart from luxury residential units and commercial space, it will be the home of the new Leonardo Hotel in Berlin. The breathtaking building complex will open 2013 and is characterized by a symbiosis of gastronomy, real estate and hotel facilities. It will be situated in one of Berlin's most famous historical centers directly on the Friedrichstrasse Spree waterside.

Designed by Eike Becker the threepart building will include ten storeys with an additional basement and will impress by a staggered echelon formation as of the sixth floor. This architectural aspect will “represents the building’s appeal”, according to Becker.

The segment that will house the Leonardo Hotel lies on the north-east side of the complex. The interior design of the Leonardo Hotel in Berlin-Mitte will be characterized by a “Bohemian style”, and will comprise 311 rooms with a luxurious VIP lounge for special events (150 sqm), an elegant spa and wellness area (150 sqm) and an up-to-date conference area with a total area of 160 sqm. The hotel restaurant offers a wide variety of specialities and rooms up to 200 guests.
