As far as we were concerned, everything was perfect, as usual. We have been using the hotel more or less every other year since the old 'Florida' days and it has certainly been well upgraded under the Leonardo name. The main reason for using it is its convenience to Centraal station and the pre-metro. Just one adverse comment; we were in room 153 and the window to the atrium only opens via a bottom hinge and the room becomes very hot during the day and when we returned in the early evening it was like walking into a sauna. Perhaps a vent could be inserted over the door to the corridor to encourage a flow of air through the room and perhaps splitting the large window into two, one of which could also have side hinges to allow the air to stream down to bed level. Apart from that, a wonderful experience all round and the staff could not be more helpful, even down to the chambermaid who had retrieved my hat that I had left on the bed on checking out.
