THE ART TO FEEL AT HOME – Under this slogan Leonardo Hotels, the affiliated company of Fattal Hotels, entered the German market in 2007 and currently operates with more than 30 properties all over Europe, offering categories which range from 3* to 4* Superior. One of the essential features of the chain is to provide hotels situated in attractive locations, for example right in the heart of the city or close to the airport.

The company headquarter is based in Berlin. From here, the different departments of Finance, Human Resources, Sales & Marketing, Project Management as well as Revenue & E-Commerce coordinate efficiently all operations throughout Europe every day. Additionally, Leonardo Hotels cooperates with partners like the renowned international hotel brands Mercure and Best Western.

David Fattal
Founder and CEO of Fattal Hotels

David Fattal was born in 1957 in Haifa, Israel and graduated in Management, Sociology and Pedagogy at the University of Haifa. Furthermore, he also studied at the Tadmor School for Hotel Management in Herzliya and took part in several courses of the Cornell University in New York, USA.

His professional career in the hotel industry began at the age of 27, when he was appointed General Manager for the prestigious Dan Accadia Hotels in Herzliya. After several managing positions, in 1996 David Fattal took over the direction of the Africa Israel Hotels & Resorts Ltd., a subsidiary of Africa Israel Investments. Thanks to his leadership the concept of franchise of the International hotel brand Holiday Inn was successfully introduced in the Israeli market.

In 1998 David Fattal started his own business, the Fattal Hotel Management Company and opened the first hotel of the chain, Le Meridien Hotel Eilat.

In 2005 Fattal Hotels undertook an expansion project of its hotel portfolio investing in properties located in Europe: Leonardo Hotels (www.leonardo-hotels.com) was founded as the European Division of Fattal Hotels. Nowadays, the hotel chain boasts more than 30 properties in Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Hungary. Leonardo Hotels will continue to expand, focusing in hotel properties in Germany and other important European cities and capitals.

Fattal Hotels (www.fattal.co.il) is currently operating in Europe and Israel with more than 60 properties and is one of the leading companies within the hotel industry.


                              

Daniel Roger
General Manager of Leonardo Hotels Europe

Daniel Roger studied Hotel Management in Germany and Switzerland. After getting his degree he took over several managing positions for different German hotels. Between 2002 and 2005 Daniel Roger was appointed General Manager of a hotel chain in Czech Republic. Since February 2006 he is successfully leading Leonardo Hotels, the European Division of Fattal Hotels. Among his many responsibilities, he actively and successfully manages the departments of Sales & Marketing, Revenue & E-commerce as well as Project Management.
