David Fattal – Founder and President

 
David Fattal was born in 1957 in Haifa, Israel. His Professional hospitality career expands over three decades. At the age of 27 he was appointed Assistant General Manager of the prestigious Dan Accadia Hotel in Herzliya, following various General Manager positions in the country.

In 1996 David became the Managing Director of Africa Israel Hotels & resorts Ltd, a subsidiary of Africa Israel Investments and launched successfully the franchising and management concept of the Holiday Inn brand to the country.

David Fattal founded his own Hotel Management company in 1998, the Fattal Hotel Management Company, with the first hotel being the Meridien Hotel Eilat, Israel.

Fattal hotels today (www.fattal.co.il) is the largest hotel management company in Israel, managing 60 hotels, with leading brand names such as Le Meridien, Golden Tulip, and the only franchised Club Med In the world.

At the end of 2005 Fattal Hotels decided to invest and manage city hotels in Europe and have introduced a new brand of hotels under the Leonardo name (www.leonardo-hotels.com ). Leonardo Hotels owns and manages today 25 hotels under operation in Germany, Switzerland and Belgium which brings the Fattal hotels chain to 60 hotels. New large hotel projects are under construction and in planning stages in Berlin, Munich, Zurich and other major cities in Europe

David Fattal holds a BA in Business Management, Sociology and Educational Theory from Haifa University, as well as Hotel Management degree from Tadmor School of hotel management, Israel.  David have participated in various courses at Cornell University, USA as well.
