Leonardo Royal Hotel Munich
Opening October 2010 - It is Munich’s largest current hotel construction project: Together with the real estate group Investa Immobiliengruppe, the European hotel chain Leonardo is on its way to creating the new “Leonardo Royal Hotel Munich”, at the Munich Olympia Business Park. The construction lot, sized approximately 10,580 m², is located on the former parking lot of the Knorr-Bremse AG on the Moosacher Straße. Construction work for the “Leonardo Royal Hotel Munich” has already begun.
The 427-room complex, including conference facilities encompassing ca 1,800 m², a VIP-lounge, as well as a wellness area and Davidoff-Lounge will be part of the Leonardo Hotels’ four-star-plus exclusive “Royal” brand. This will be the chain’s second “Royal”. (Leonardo Royal Hotel Berlin, opened since August 2009). The hotel is scheduled to open at the end of 2010.
The internationally acclaimed hotel and interior designer Andreas Neudahm is in charge of the interior decoration, and will make certain that the buildings are suffused by the Leonardo Hotels’ motto: “Feels like Home”. His credo: “We want guests to feel right at home, not like they are staying at a sterile chain hotel. We want our house bar to be our guests’ living room.”
